Everyone knows that plans can change. Life gets in the way. There are no easy paths. Decisions, however, never change. Decisions are made regardless of where you are in life. A decision is always the first step to action.There are two elements that people base there decisions on. First are their standards. Second are their core beliefs.Standards can change. Once and for all, decide that settling for less is not an option and that you will succeed in achieving whatever goal you set and you need to hold yourself to those standards. The goals that I set in my own life are constantly changing. Reaching your goal is never enough. If your definition of success is to reach a specific goal and that is all you concentrate on, that is a setup for letdown in life. Anthony Robbins talks about a decade or more of extreme, motivated work to take his company public. Once it occurred, he had made over $450,000,000 literally overnight. He celebrated, went home and became quite depressed. He had put so much effort into that goal that once it was reached, he had no direction. He literally did not know what he was going to do with his life from that moment on. That brings me to your core beliefs.Your core beliefs are why you are where you are right now. How do you change your core beliefs? It’s simple, you just need to model the people that have what you want to have. It is that easy. Here, for example, is one of my favorite quotes, “We are the sum total of the expectations of the people around us, so if you want to improve, hang around better people.” Anthony Robbins.You have got to be committed to the discipline of constant improvement. If you do not commit to constant improvement, you will simply become unhappy at a higher level. You want to walk on stage at the next National meetings of you Network Marketing Company? Then commit to improvement everyday, find a system that you can duplicate and soon you will see Momentum take place. As one of my mentors taught me, if you have the right system in place once momentum starts, the Flood Gate will open it’s welcome to your new life. Without committing to constant improvement, you will become stagnant and nobody swims in stagnate water. Dogs don’t bark at parked cars.
